Deacon Ministry
The Deacon Ministry consist of spiritual leaders called to serve the congregation and community. Deacons exemplify Christian discipleship, nurture, and discipline to promote spiritual growth. Deacons respond to all areas in one’s life; especially in cases of sickness, family problems, death of loved ones, and joyous occasions.
Our mission is to assist the pastor in carrying out the mission and vision for the church; serve during baptismal, communion, and worship services; share the Good News with believers, un-believers, those who are discouraged, neglected, oppressed, sick, or incarcerated; perform visitations to the sick and shut-in; and assist in carrying out the business of the church.
Our goal is to serve the Body of Christ by providing spiritual and physical support; pray, teach, and address the needs of all people; lead all people to respond the call of salvation and fulfill the Great Commission; project a posture of humility, dignity, and seriousness; engage in church activities that promote fellowship and Godly character according to (Acts 6:1-7).
